Getting there & away
The Inter-Island Ferry Authority (Craig 866-308-4848, Klawock 826-4848, Hollis530-4848, Ketchikan225-4838; www.interislandferry.com) operates the MV Prince of Wales between Ketchikan and Hollis daily (one way adult/child $30/18) with two round-trips daily in summer, departing from Hollis at 7am and 2:30pm, and departing from Ketchikan at 10:55am and 6:15pm.
In mid-2006 the Authority's new MV Stikine began service between Coffman Cove, Wrangell and Petersburg.
