Lonely Planet review
Overlooking the tundra and the Bering Sea on the far eastern edge of town is another excellent inn run by a descendant of gold-rush-era pioneers. Owner ‘Cussy’ Kauer and her homestay are both troves of local history, and the B&B is just a short walk from Golden Sands Beach. Try to get a room with a view.
