Lonely Planet review

If you plan ahead, you can rent one of 13 USFS cabins in the area. The cabins must be reserved in advance, usually several months. A 14th cabin, at Big Goat Lake, is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis, as are four Adirondack shelters (three-sided free-use shelters) in the preserve.
