Lonely Planet review
A historic boutique hotel in a great location between Creek St and Thomas Basin. The eight rooms are filled with antiques and colorful quilts but have been updated with cable TV, small refrigerators and a private bath. The hotel also has seven suites a short walk away, five of them on Creek St, which feature comfortable living rooms, small kitchen areas and sleeping accommodations for four. The 2nd-floor perch means you can watch the salmon spawn in Ketchikan Creek below and the seals that follow them on high tides.
Our independent authors have visited New York Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended boutique hotels in Ketchikan.
