Lonely Planet review
There are three cabins along the fjords, in addition to countless other informal campsites that line the kayak-accessible beaches of Aialik Bay and Northwestern Lagoon. Aialik Cabin is on a beach that’s perfect for hiking, beachcombing and whale watching; Holgate Arm Cabin has a spectacular view of Holgate Glacier; and North Arm Cabin is actually much closer to Homer. You’ll want to reserve these well in advance through the Alaska Public Lands Information Center .
Our independent authors have visited Public-use Cabins and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Kenai Fjords National Park.
