Red Dog Saloon information
A sign at the door says it all – ‘Booze, Antiques, Sawdust Floor, Community Singing’ – and the cruise-ship passengers love it! Most don’t realize, much less care, that this Red Dog is but a replica of the original, a famous Alaskan drinking hole that was across the street until 1987. Now that was a bar.
The duplicate is interesting, but the fact that it has a gift shop should tell you who the clientele is during summer.
