Lonely Planet review

A sign at the door says it all - Booze, Antiques, Sawdust Floor, Community Singing - and the cruise-ship passengers love it! Most don't realize, much less care, that this Red Dog is but a replica of the original, a famous Alaskan drinking hole that was across the street until 1987. Now that was a bar. The duplicate is interesting, but the fact that it has a gift shop should tell you who the clientele is during the summer.
