Hope remains idyllic in part because of its isolation. Though the Seward Bus Line (224-3608) and Homer Stage Line (224-3608; www.homerstageline.com) will drop you off at the junction of the Hope and Seward Highways, the only way to get to the town proper is by driving, hitching, pedaling or plodding.
