Riley Creek Campground

At the park's main entrance and within earshot of George Parks Hwy, this is Denali's largest and most developed campground and is the only one open year-round. It has 146 sites, piped-in water, flush toilets and evening interpretive programs.

Talkeetna Boat Launch & Campgrounds

East of the tracks at the north end of F St, this tree-shrouded campground offers sites near the Talkeetna River and has restrooms, showers and a small store. If it seems off the beaten path, ask about the shortcut through the woods to downtown.

This informal place at the end of Main St is a bit scruffy, but close to the river and the action. No RVs.

Mc Kinley/Denali Salmon Bake Cabins

'The Bake' has 12 cabins, including a couple of bare-bones shared-bath tent cabins that are by far the cheapest digs in Glitter Gulch. It does sourdough-pancake breakfasts and, for dinner, king salmon plates.
