  3. Palace Theatre & Saloon

    At Pioneer Park, this saloon comes alive at night with honky-tonk piano, cancan dancers and other acts in the Golden Heart Revue. The large stage show purportedly answers the question: 'Why would anyone want to build a town in this godforsaken swamp, and why would that town survive for more than 90 years?' Showtime is nightly. Dinner at the park's nearby Alaska Salmon Bake takes place before the show.
