Lonely Planet review
Fairbanks’ best hostel houses backpackers in wall tents, a tepee with two beds (that makes for a great semiprivate room) and a chilled-out camping area. There’s nearly everything you could imagine here: bicycle, car and canoe rental, guided backcountry trips, book exchange, internet, foosball and a common kitchen area. It’s a long walk from town or from the nearest bus stop (at Fred Meyer), but Go North Taxi has fixed rates for guests (to/from train station/airport $8/10).
Our independent authors have visited Go North Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Fairbanks.
