Sullivan Roadhouse
Across the parking lot from the visitor center is Sullivan Roadhouse. The classic log structure was built in 1906 and served travelers along the old Fairbanks-Valdez Trail until 1927. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and in 1997 was moved, log by log, from Fort Greely to its present location in the Triangle.
Now a museum, the roadhouse displays historic photographs and excavated artifacts in several exhibits dedicated to travel in Alaska in the early 1900s, the so-called 'roadhouse era.'

IGA Food Cache
A half-mile north of the visitor center, this is a market with a bakery, deli and an espresso cart, plus homemade soup and other ready-to-eat items to go. It's the place to go in the morning for coffee, a pastry and a bit of local news.

Buffalo Center Diner
Across from the IGA, this is certainly the town's busiest restaurant and would be your standard roadside diner save for the emphasis on local buffalo products. Try a bowl of buffalo black-bean chili.

Delta Junction Visitor Center
More of a gift shop than a visitor center, this place is usually jammed with RVers clamoring to purchase 'End-of-the-Alaska-Highway' certificates.
