    At the heart of a 40-sq-mile geothermal area, the Chena Hot Springs produce a steady stream of water that, at 156°F, must be cooled before you can even think about bathing in it. The facility has several indoor and outdoor tubs, Jacuzzis and pools, including what amounts to a boulder-ringed artificial lake with a fountain at its center. If you've just come to soak it costs around US$10 (adult) or around US$7 (child), open to midnight.
