    Lonely Planet review

This colorful establishment was a construction zone when we visited, but once complete the curved hallways and tiled bathroom floors should instill a sense of calm. Six small sleeping 'pods' (like human-sized cubbyholes) have one thin mattress, outlets and a window; private rooms vary in quality and size. It has a small kitchen and a sunny deck.

Our independent authors have visited Qupqugiaq Inn and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Anchorage.
