While in Anchorage, take a trip to Sterling, Alaska for a full-day fishing adventure. Spend a relaxing four to five hours fishing for Alaskan salmon on either the Kenai River or Kasilof River, both known for some of the best fishing around the Kenai Peninsula. With all fishing equipment included, try your hand at catching silver, king, sockeye and pink salmon on board a drift boat. Your knowledgeable guide will select which river has the best conditions for the day and will accompany you on your fishing trip. Lunch and hotel pickup and drop-off are included. Appreciate Alaska's beauty and take home some fresh fish! Enjoy a full-day fishing trip from Anchorage to the Kenai River or the Kesilof River, both known for their abundance of king salmon, silver salmon, pink salmon and sockeye salmon. Generally, the months of June and July are great for Alaskan king salmon, while August and September are great for silver salmon. After pickup from your hotel in Anchorage in the morning, make the 2.5-hour journey to Sterling, Alaska. Your guide will select the river with the best fishing conditions for the day. You'll enjoy lunch at a local lodge before boarding a drift boat and setting out onto the glacier-fed, salmon-rich river for a 4- to 5-hour fishing adventure, exploring the waters at your leisure. All fishing equipment and lunch are included.At the end of the day, head back to the lodge where any fish you choose to keep will be filleted.
