  1. Wet

With sassy sex appeal, TI’s spa is awash in an aquatic theme, from its aquamarine walls to azure couches. Signature packages include ‘Alpha Male’ (a men’s facial and massage) and the ‘Venus & Mars’ couples’ experience with customized massages, facials and mani-pedis. After-dark therapies prep goddesses for a long night of partying, or send princesses off to dreamland back in their hotel room. True to its name, Wet also features a sauna, a steam room and a whirlpool surrounded by tropical plants.

  2. A

    Spa Costa del Sur

Venture away from the Strip’s impersonal, overpriced spas. There’s never any rush at South Point, where there’s a swimming pool, whirlpool, steam room, waterfall showers and good fitness facilities. Tempting treatment add-ons (ahem, ‘appetizers’) before massage and facials include ‘The Castaway, ’ where coconut milk is poured all over your body, or gentle gel peels to make your face kissably soft.

  3. B

    Well Spa

A quiet, welcoming spa not far from the Strip, here you can seek peace of body and mind. Subdued lighting enhances the co-ed relaxation lounge, ideal for couples, who might choose the mud-painting pittura festa package, which includes side-by-side massages and body-glow treatments. Well Spa also has workout machines and a salon for mani-pedis, waxing and makeup services (no hair styling).

  4. C

    Emerge Spa

Occupying a gorgeous 19th-century town house on tiny Newbury St, this day spa tempts both men and women. The mahogany Men’s Club offers not only a shave and a haircut, but also manicures, pedicures, waxing and sports massage – everything the metrosexual in you might desire. Women are not neglected, of course, and there’s a whole host of treatments (mostly massage) for couples.

  5. D

    Okeanos

It’s not your grandfather’s tsar’s Russian baths, but the slick, inviting Okeanos offers the classic experience – birch-slappings in the sauna ($50), sports massages fit for hockey players (and some do come for it; $210) – and even a shot of vodka to finish. Sauna use is free if you spend more than $120 on spa treatments (which is what a one-hour massage costs).

Enter the Zen-minimalist spa, with its wood, rock and water elements, for organic veggie wraps, hot-stone massage and oxygenated facials. Work off your latest bender in the health club equipped with free weights, cardio and muscle-training machines, and if you’re feeling feisty, boxing classes.

The Bellagio’s overhyped spa cocoons patrons in gorgeous surrounds, making anyone feel like a queen (or king) for a day. On the far-reaching menu of spa treatments, expect to see Thai yoga massage and deluxe hydrotherapy, including volcanic mud, coconut milk and seaweed baths. Sign up for cardio boot camp or body sculpting, pilates and spin sessions in the fully-equipped fitness center.

  8. G

    Paul Labrecque East

Sit back with the stars at this swank uptown spa (with a salon and barbershop just for the guys). Apparently Sting has indulged in an hour-long ‘indulgent shave’ ($90); a haircut starts at $80. It’s not all for the guys, though. Paul also offers a glow tan ($140) seen on many Upper East Siders pretending to be back from el Caribe.

  9. Mandara Spa

Sends guests to the South Pacific, with exotic themed massage rooms and treatments like the oh-so-decadent body-cleansing ‘Javanese Lulur, ’ with turmeric, red rice and ylang-ylang. The Dolphin location oozes Balinese ambience, with temples, rattan and richly embroidered pillows. Both offer serene and peaceful surroundings in the best of spa traditions.
