Your guide will show you the treasures that lie in stunning Diamondback Gulch, from towering canyon walls to spectacular red rock formations and beyond. Diamondback Gulch Tour (2.5-hours)
Make your way to the departure point located on the North Highway in Sedona. After being greeted by your professional guide, board a 4WD, open-air Jeep and hold on tight as you venture into the wide-open terrain of the Sonoran Desert.
You’ll be surrounded by incredible canyons, towering red-rock formations and desert outback brush as you descend into the stunning Grand Arroyos and mysterious Diamondback Gulch. You’ll be amazed as you climb up the other side!
Stop periodically to appreciate the scenery and capture it on camera. Your guide will point out and explain difference aspects of the desert landscape, explaining the geological forces behind them.
Ancient Ruins Upgrade (4 hours)
Extend your adventure with a trip back in time to the ancient Native American ruins. Stand in awe at the remains of a 700-year-old cliff dwelling, and listen as your guide explains the meanings and symbolism of the art displayed on the rock walls. A truly fascinating experience!
Venture through the desert backcountry again and end your tour at the original departure point.
