Getting there & around
Bus 1 goes from the bus terminal to the center of town.
From Plaza Artigas, catch the ‘Termas’ bus for the Daymán hot springs. The US$0.30 fare includes entrance to the hot springs.
Chadre/Agencia Central and Flecha Bus (099-732-052) go to Concordia, Argentina (US$2, one hour). Immigration procedures are carried out on the bus.
Domestic buses go to Montevideo (US$17, six hours), Bella Unión (US$5, three hours) and Paysandú (US$5, two hours).
From the port at the foot of Brazil, launches cross the river to Concordia (US$2, 10 minutes) Monday to Saturday.
