Museo de la Revolución Industrial
Fray Bentos' star attraction, on the waterfront 2km west of town, is the Museo de la Revolución Industrial. Guided tours (year-round at and , afternoon only on Sunday, more in summer) grant access to the intricate maze of passageways, corrals and abandoned slaughterhouses behind the museum.

Museo Solari
The municipal Museo Solari is on the west side of Plaza Constitución and features the satirical works of painter and engraver Luis Solari, many of which contain fanciful human figures with the heads of animals.

Teatro Young
The 400-seat Teatro Young dates from the early 1900s and hosts cultural events throughout the year. Visits can be arranged at the theater itself or at the tourist office.
