Virgin Megastore
The enthusiastic sales staff are great at suggesting Middle Eastern music to take back home, from traditional oud music to Oriental chill-out. The selection is huge. Also check out the Arabian and Iranian DVDs. The store in the Mall of the Emirates is bigger, but for Middle Eastern tunes, this one’s best.

DJs dig Ohm, the first Dubai shop to carry vinyl. There’s a discerning selection of house, trance, progressive, trip-hop and drum ’n’ bass, as well as DJ equipment and accessories.
