Asado
Meat lovers will be in bovine heaven at this cheerful, lusty steakhouse. Choose your quality cut of tenderloin, veal chop, rib eye or sirloin from a tray brought to your table by servers clad gaucho-style. While it’s being cooked to order, sit back and savour the delicious bread, the views of Burj Khalifa (sit on the terrace) and the sultry tunes from the live band. All meats are served with a selection of delicious sauces, salts and mustards. A sommelier stands by to help you pick the perfect bottle from what is purportedly the biggest selection of Argentine wines in the Middle East.

Exchange Grill
One of Dubai’s premier steakhouses, the Exchange Grill has a clubby feel, with oversized leather armchairs orbiting linen-draped tables and big picture windows overlooking the glittering strip. You’ll have a fine time spiking your cholesterol level with trendy Wagyu beef or the less pricey but actually more-flavourful aged Angus prime. Seafood rounds out the menu, but beef is definitely the big draw. Respectable wine list, too.

M's Beef Bistro
The key to running a good steakhouse is developing a solid clientele, the kind who come in at least once a week - M's has a cabinet filled with personal engraved knives for its regular guests. Classics dominate; try the beef carpaccio or beef tartare (prepared tableside). The aged (six-weeks) tenderloin and the fabulous Wagyu are also winners.

Rib Room
Surrender helplessly to your inner carnivore at this power-player hangout where the air is practically perfumed with testosterone. The yummy cuts of aged steaks, juicy prime rib and chateaubriand speak for themselves, but even more complicated dishes like braised Wagyu beef cheeks in port wine arrive without needless flights of fancy.
