Ponder the beauty of Marilyn, Audrey and other classic Hollywood stars as you sit in this art-deco-inspired dining room and munch on tender-crusted thin pizzas and house-made pastas. The strong coffee will jack you up for shopping in the adjoining Mercato Mall. Sit on the terrace for glimpses of the azure Gulf.

    Looks Better Than It Is

    We visited this restaurant on two occassions. As required the 'welcome' team are friendly and graceful in showing you to your table. The atmosphere is warmly pleasant and the decor is of a high standard.

    Unfortunately the same can not be said about the service team or the meals. The service was extremely slow and, on both occassions, our bill incorrect; the latter which always puts a damper on any evening.

    Despite being kept for much longer than required in the pan, our pasta was served to us, a bit soft and sticky. The accompanying sauce was bland and perhaps due to the chef's tight fist lacked the Italian touch or fragrance.

    The thin pizza's were crispy and looked delicious with the cheesy toppings. But alas ... it was only looks! They lacked the spices and the flavours that make a good pizza.

    The desserts were much too sweet and garish looking - definately not a must unless one has a real sweet tooth. Not realising that the coffee comes from a sister concern (also within the mall) we ordered a couple of cups which arrived well over a reasonable waiting period and as expected less than steaming hot.

    On a good note, the outdoor seating area, overlooks the carpark and the busy beach street which can be quite entertaining thus shortening the extremely long wait for your meals!
