A meal at Traiteur is pure drama, both on the plate and in the striking 14m-high dining room with origami wall features and theatrical lighting. You can watch a small army of toqued cooks in the raised show kitchen toil over classic French brasserie fare. The bouillabaisse is a virtual flavour bomb, while the chateaubriand (with foie gras and truffle sauce) is so tender it barely requires a knife. Ask the sommelier to help you choose from the 4200-bottle wine cellar, one of the largest in Dubai.
