Lonely Planet review for China Club
Lunchtime yum cha – especially on Fridays – is a superb deal and big draw at this red-silk fancy dining room that comes across as an aesthetically smart but faded holdover from the Dynasty era. At dinner, the classics are spot-on, including a standout Szechuan-style boiled lamb and a crispy-delicious Peking duck carved and rolled tableside. Private dining rooms, with lazy Susans in the middle of the tables, are ideal for a group.

I wish I had not gone over here....
nypd does not recommend this,
My true experience may not be true with others, but thought of writing this ...well me and my daughter had decided to dine here, as we both like chinese....so after seeing menu we ordered spring rolls, wonton soup, are something new we ordered was-- some cripy rice with some chicken curry....than it was like take a dare situation...first came wonton soup....which oops smelt not at all familiar...and tasted worst than medicine...we could not take a spoon also...my daughter was feeling like nauseauting at smell itself....anyways we told waiter the soup was not good....he just took it with not so good face...than came spring rolls , they were saving grace...we gobbled up....and relished a lot....than came an adventure of crispy rice with some chicken curry.... I DON'T HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE, IT WAS SOMETING NEW....IT WAS LIKE RICE PAPAD, WHICH YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CRUSH AND ON THAT SOME HORRIBLE SMELLING GRAVY YOU HAVE TO PUT.... WHEN I AM WRITING ALL THIS...I FEEL MISERABLE....RICE CAKE AND GRAVY WERE WORST THAN SOUP...AND WE COULD NOT EAT....WE SAID WE CAN'T EAT....WAITERS LOOKED ANGRY WITH US.....WE ASKED FOR BILL....WE PAID FOR EVERYTHING WHICH WE HAD NOT ATE...WE WERE TOO PUKEY TO ARGUE....WE RUSHED OUT OF RESTAURANT...AS WE WERE OUT OF JAIL....IT WAS HORRIBLE....BUT THAN NOT TO SPOIL THEIR NAME....I WOULD SAY WE ARE USED INDIAN CHINESE....SO MAYBE THIS IS FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO LOVE TOTALLY AUTHENTIC CHINESE COOKING....GOD FORGIVE ME...RADISSON SORRY....
