Lonely Planet review
Super-central, spartan but spotless hostel on the main pedestrian drag through the city centre. Only 10 beds so booking ahead is essential.
Our independent authors have visited Five Flags Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Uzhhorod.
Description provided by property
Our quiet and peaceful hostel is located in the very heart of Uzhgorod - the pedestrian area adjacent to the central Theater Square. The Uzhgorod castle, the cozy cafes serving the famous Uzhgorod coffee, the beautiful old churches - it is all here, within minutes of walking distance.
The hostel consists of one 10-bed dorm, one private room with a double bed, a common room, a bathroom, a toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. In the kitchen, you'll find a fridge, a microwave oven, a gas stove, an electric teapot, and a coffee machine, not to mention a full set of pans, plates, cups, cutlery and utensils. We also have fire equipment and a First Aid kit.
We are located in a gorgeous Czech-built building with high ceilings, so the rooms are bright and spacious. There's air conditioning in the dorm and in the private room. In the common room, there is a flat-screen TV as well as a desktop computer. All guests of our hostel are free to enjoy our high-speed Wi-Fi.
The Five Flags staff are fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Hostel cleaning takes place daily.
At our hostel, you will enjoy:
