Lonely Planet review
A friendly place that’s a community initiative with a variety of rooms and a nice verandah for relaxing. Local meals (USh5500 to USh8500) are available, but only if you order early. It leads walks in the area and, if you contact in advance, can hook you up with some volunteer opportunities. Proceeds fund school projects in the area.
Our independent authors have visited Amajambere Iwacu Community Campground and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
