    Description provided by property

This Sumahan is set in a renovated, 19th-century distillery and sits right on the shores of the Bosphorus Straight. It offers sumptuous rooms with Bosphorus views and many include Turkish-style marbled bathrooms.

The furnishings are contemporary, while original elements such as wood beamed ceilings or fireplaces are retained. Bathing in plenty of daylight, all units feature satellite flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free wired internet.

Sumahan’s on-site wellness centre includes a traditional Turkish hammam and a fitness centre. Guests can also treat themselves to an invigorating massage.

Tapasuma Restaurant serves mezzes from the Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines. Waterfront Café offers soups, salads, pastas and sandwiches from the international cuisine, and it provides stunning views of the Bosporus suspension bridge and the Istanbul skyline. The daily breakfast is also served here.

Hotel Sumahan - on the Water is merely 5 minutes’ walk to the Çengelköy Jetty, linking directly by ferryboat to Istanbul’s European side. It also provides free private parking.
