    Lonely Planet review

A long-standing travellers' favourite, with a fabulous lounge/bar on the rooftop and very helpful staff, the Nur has 10 rooms with bathrooms and five with shared facilities. Some rooms are indeed pint-size but the views across Atatürk Alanı make up for the squeeze. The nearby mosque doesn't skimp on the 5am call to prayer.

Our independent authors have visited Nur Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Trabzon.
