Now this is a proper pub: wooden tables, doodling barman, music drowned out by the general hubbub and the eponymous Efes beer served in 2.5L towers (around €8) on request.

    Great place to people watch.

    If you're looking for a place to enjoy a drink, people watch, or just sit down and have a good conversation with your friends or the locals, this bar is the place. When I stayed in Trabzon, I was there for three nights, and two of those nights my friends and I went to the Efes Pub. We shut it down both nights and enjoyed all that Trabzon had to offer! I lived in Turkey for about a year and a half and I think this region of Turkey is very underrated!
