Saray Muhallebicisi
This muhallebici has been in business since 1935 and is always packed with locals scratching their heads over which of the 35-odd varieties of pudding to sample. Try the firin sutlaç, aşure (dried fruit, nut and pulse pudding) or kazandibi (slightly burnt chicken-breast pudding). There are branches throughout town, including one opposite the Eminönü ferry docks.
