Kebapçi restaurants in Turkey

  1. A

    Anafartalar Kebap

With glass walls and low tables in a covered courtyard in front of the hotel of the same name, Anafartalar is quieter and better value than the nearby fish restaurants. The pide and İskender kebap (döner kebap on fresh pide, with tomato sauce, browned butter and yoghurt) are both excellent.

  2. B

    Kebab House Mehmet & Alibaba

Covered in testimonials from contented customers, this friendly and informal joint dishes out tasty Turkish fare. The smiley owners are eager to please and are happy to educate the uninitiated palate with a variety of local treats such as Adana kebap. Complimentary coffee and yoghurt sides are the norm.
