Lonely Planet review
Once the celebrated Pamphylia Hotel, a magnet for celebrities in the 1960s, the Beach House's prime seafront location and welcoming owners lures a loyal band of regulars. Most rooms face the sea and all have balconies. We love the roof terrace (with teensy pool), the library full of beach-reads and the garden which comes complete with Byzantine ruins.
Our independent authors have visited Beach House Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Side.
Description provided by property
Built on the site of a Byzantine villa in 1960s, the family-run Beach House enjoys a quiet location in a pedestrian area of ancient Side. It offers a private beach and sun terrace with a hot tub.
Featuring views of Antalya Bay, all rooms at Beach House are decorated with wooden furniture and carpeted floors. Each has a ceiling fan and a private bathroom with a hairdryer.
Guests can enjoy traditional Turkish dishes as well as international cuisine in Beach House Hotel’s restaurant. The bar offers a wide variety of drinks and refreshments.
Children can have fun on the trampoline, which is located in the hotel’s gardens. Beach House also offers a 24-hour reception, a tour desk, and a free shuttle service to the local Turkish baths.
The Temples of Apollo and Athena are just a 2-minute walk from Beach House Hotel, and the ancient Amphitheatre is less than 200 metres from the hotel.
