  1. A

    Oxyd

Resembling a sci-fi sandcastle (apparently) inspired by a church in Morocco, this super-duper club 3km north of town in Kumköy is among Turkey's best, and all about love-it-or-leave-it extravagance. Pack a swimming costume; there's a pool alongside. Best get there by taxi (TL15).

  2. B

    Club Bananas

Any venue where staff set fire to the bar then dance on it is hard to overlook on a big night out. Bananas is Fethiye's premier party joint – expect foam parties and random remixes.

  3. C

    Club Apollo

The entrance to this open-air club sits just a few metres from the Temples of Apollo and Athena. Expensive cocktails, a killer light show and packs of beautiful people are some of what you'll find here. Women get discounted drinks every Sunday night.

  4. D

    Doors Rock Bar

Celebrate the memory of the Lizard King at this rather rough-around-the-edges club, which seems to play more oldies than actual classic rock.

  5. E

    Car Cemetery

British boozer–meets–club, this place with the whacko deco and live rock music at the weekend is particularly popular with locals.

  6. F

    Areena

Areena shines with its bar elevated above a large dance floor and high-quality lasers.

  7. G

    Crazy Daisy

Daisy's raised terraces are good for dancing on.

  8. Light House

Italian and seafood restaurant by day, cheesy music factory by night, the Light House has the advantage of a makeshift marina where fishing boats dock alongside the outdoor patio. It's techno and Turkish pop mostly, with the odd (accent on) addition of pole dancers.

  9. H

    Club Rain

More stylish neighbour of the CC, this new kid in town is trying hard to win the hearts and minds of punters next door.

  10. I

    Club Ally

A massive outdoor discotheque at the harbour complete with nine bars, laser lights, and an eardrum-shattering sound system featuring mostly Top 40 and hip-hop. Club Ally is best experienced late at night, when a sea of beautiful bodies can be found dramatically gyrating around the dance floor's circular bar.
