Lonely Planet review for Erzincanli Ali Baba Fasulyeci
Join the crowds of hungry locals at this long-time institution in the former kütüphanesi medrese (theological-school library) of the Süleymaniye Mosque. It’s been dishing up its signature kuru fasulye (Anatolian-style haricot beans cooked in a spicy tomato sauce) since 1924. Try some with side dishes of pilaf (rice) and pickles, and wash it all down with an ayran (yoghurt drink). Next-door Kanaat Fasulyeci is nearly as old and serves up more of the same.

Worth to try
lovelytrip recommends this,
We went there because Lonely Planet recommendation. When we reached the area, there are 2 or 3 places and almost using the same name. We chose the middle one with the red canopy. Ordered kuru fasulyeci, it is dried bean. They served with bread and rice. It is delicious. Local said this place is best for fasulyeci.

Best food in Istanbul!
sarahawouters recommends this,
In our 5-day stay we visted lots of restaurants, but we are all in agreement when it comes to this restaurant. It was the best food we ate, and we got to go into the kitchen to choose what we liked!
You can dine in the shadow of the great Suleyman Mosque which makes it perfect!Good for: food, location
