Lonely Planet review
This boutique hotel has been designed around a 'wellness' concept. Parquet floors feature instead of asthma-inducing carpets, therapeutic fruit juices for every possible complaint are available at the flick of a room-service switch, the restaurant food is all organic, and massage showers and Jacuzzis are installed in every bathroom. Ten rooms even have their own exercise bike. We feel healthy even thinking about checking in.
The joy is that the place is not at all hippy-dippy: appointments are luxurious, all fabrics are from Vakko (İstanbul's poshest store) and the décor is opulent, with oodles of gilt and marble. The only things missing are views and alcohol service.
