Fresh flowers and a pond full of tortoises greet guests when they check in to this comfortable hotel. Rooms feature pale-green furnishings and are very well equipped; superior ones come with a sea view. Though the location – very near the Cankurtaran suburban train station and a few steps from the Bosphorus shore – isn’t great, it’s only a 10-minute walk uphill to Sultanahmet. The hotel’s major selling point is the Teras Restaurant, with its wonderful view and very pleasant surrounds. Check the website for special offers, as room rates can vary wildly.
