This unexpected pleasure on two floors serves non-Turkish staples such as pasta and sandwiches, but its raison d'être is the dispensing...
Widely recommended by locals for its tasty tava ciğer (thinly sliced calf's liver deep fried and eaten with crispy fried red chillies)...
Lonely Planet review
The residents of Edirne are particularly partial to sweet treats, as is evident by the huge number of șekerlemes (sweet shops) scattered through the city. Keçecizade is one of two popular local chains specialising in lokum (Turkish delight) and badem ezmesi (marzipan), and is a good place to sample both. There's another branch opposite the Old Mosque.
