We thought it very nice.

We ate at Urfali Haci Mehmet restaurant last night (8 Feb 2010), you have the correct address (Sanayi Caddesi Kizilbey Sokak No:3 Ulus /Alkara Tel (0.312)311 2636, http://www.urfalihacimehmet.com.tr/), but the map is off an annoying amount. As in, you won't find it using the map. The coordinates are N39 56.427 E32 51.351 in the ddd mm.mmm format.
If you use the given map, the restaurant is actually a little west of Zafer Sk on the north side of Kizilbey Sk. It has a well lit sign and is clean and nice. Janet & I were seated upstairs, perhaps because there were no women seated on the ground floor, or just chance. Indicate that you would like to eat and follow their lead. It was very economical, with a large menu with some English.
We are ovo-lacto vegetarians and had the best yellow cheese pide I can recall (a large pizza pointed rather than round) and a squashed eggplant salad (a warm cooked and squashed egg plant or aubergine that was VERY low salt, but when salted was fairly good, but not baba ganoush). There was also a red cabbage, parsley, shredded carrot salad and a mildly picante finely chopped tomato dish like a mild hot sauce and Cay (tea). These were free or gratis.
It was 15.25 TL for the above and 1 Coke. There seemed to not be beer or wine. It is close to a mosque (cami) and that usually precludes alcohol.
But be warned! They are famous for their baklava. (An addictive sweet treat.)
