Lonely Planet review
Amasya has several venerable hamams that are still in operation. The Yıldız Hamamı was built by a Seljuk commander in the 13th century and restored in the 16th century. On the southern side of the river is the Ottoman Mustafa Bey Hamamı , built in 1436. Both are open from about 6am to 10am and 4pm to 11pm for men; from 10am to 4pm for women.
