Lonely Planet review

Charming hostess Eren Serpen has truly set a new standard for hotel design in Cappadocia with this contemporary effort that seamlessly merges İstanbul's European aesthetic with Turkish provincial life. The six minimally furnished rooms employ dashes of colour and feature Archimedes lamps, signature chairs, hip floor rugs and tables too cool for coffee.

The toiletries are top shelf, breakfasts feature Eren's fabulous home baking, and relaxing on the sun-drenched courtyard leaves guests in no doubt that humankind has evolved from that staid old prehistoric cave life.

Our independent authors have visited Serinn House and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Ürgüp.
