Getting there & around
There are two bus routes from Avanos to Nevşehir: one leaves every 30 minutes and goes direct and the other leaves every hour and travels via Göreme and Çavuşın. Both services operate from 7am to 7pm and charge €1.50 per ticket. There’s also an hourly belediye bus running from Avanos to Nevşehir via Çavuşin (10 minutes), Göreme (15 minutes) and Uçhisar (30 minutes). It operates from 7.10am to 6pm and costs between €0.40 and €1.10 depending on where you get on and off.
