Lonely Planet review for Mahfel Mado

If you lunched on kebap then you'll probably be too full for dinner (no joke), so drop by Bursa's oldest cafe for a late-night dondurma (ice cream) brought to you by one of Turkey's best-known brands. Mado is set along a gorgeous ravine; snag a table amid chatty 20-somethings and shady trees, or grab your cone to go.

    Mahfel, Bursa's nostagia

    noriko recommends this,

If you are walking between Yesil Cami and Heykel area, you cannot miss this cafe by the stream in Setbasi. Interior of the cafe is nostalgic design, reminds of old Bursa. Mahfel serves breakfast, snack and other food (spaghetti and pizzas), but the most popular is probably Turkish sweets, such as Baklava, Sutlac (rice pudding), etc., as well as their famous ice cream. It is very nice to sit outside, either in the front garden or the side one by the stream in summer. The front garden is a perfect place for people watching, and you can enjoy the murmur of the stream if you are in the other garden. This garden by the stream has live music in summer. Price is fair, and the cafe is clean. This is a nice place to have a break during your visit in Bursa.
