Lonely Planet review for Nazik Ana
Hidden away down a narrow alley but definitely worth hunting out, this simple but atmospheric place is a huge hit locally, particularly with the police officers from next door. With its point-and-pick counter, it's great for sampling different Turkish dishes. Prices are kept so cheap that there's no buyer's remorse – if you don't like something just grab a new plate! It lies off Cevat Şakir Caddesi.

A great little place to eat
martizay recommends this,
I was taken to Nazik Ana by a friend, whose Turkish husband had discovered it some time before. Eating lunch there was an effortless and delightful experience. Situated in the heart of town, just a short walk from the waterfront with its tourist eateries, Nazik Ana provides a delicious, authentic experience of simple Turkish cuisine for an astonishingly low price. The daily fare changes and all is freshly prepared and very tempting. I'd recommend it to any visitor to Bodrum who is looking for genuine, unpretentious Turkish quality.
