Lonely Planet review for Chez Nous

This feels like an Italian-American mobsters' haunt. It's in a snug back room and is nothing fancy, but the food is good and there are faded black-and-white photos of faded stars on the walls.

    Chez Nous is a gem of restaurants. I go there about once a month with friends for the decent steaks and good imported beer. The staff is colorful and normally helpful and the atmosphere is fun too. On weekends there can be lots of tourists so you might want to get there around when it opens at 7. A steak will set you back about 15 dinar and a beer 5.
