Born in Poland, raised in Melbourne, and feeling at home nowhere in particular, Rafael has been hankering to travel since he laid hands on his first atlas. After completing degrees in Business Marketing and Psychology, Rafael vowed never to use either of them and set off on a six-month around-the-world trip. Eight years and three passports later, he has yet to come home. Rafael has contributed to Lonely Planet’s Thailand’s Islands & Beaches and Southeast Asia on a Shoestring.
