Edinburgh-based writer Neil Wilson has written and photographed around 45 guidebooks for HarperCollins, AA Publishing, Berlitz and Lonely Planet. In addition to travel guides, Neil has written several nonfiction books, including Great Sea Disasters and the SAS Guide to Tracking & Navigation (but no, he was never in the SAS!) A keen outdoors enthusiast, he also enjoys learning new languages.
