Poppy Stockell

After completing a degree in Zoology, Poppy got a job at 2SER FM, the Sydney based community radio station. After 2 years producing and presenting several programmes, she jumped ship to join Triple J as a freelance radio producer. At Triple J, Poppy wrangled Tommy Lee, scripted questions for Kath and Kim and dodged saltwater crocodiles all in the name of good radio. In 2004, Poppy incorporated visual elements to her story telling by completing a Diploma in Film and Television majoring in Cinematography. She worked on feature films, television dramas and countless short films before completing her own long form documentary film Searching 4 Sandeep. An avid traveller and naturalist, Poppy is always on the look out for a good yarn. Poppy lives and works in London with her girlfriend Sandeep.
