Iain Stewart comes from England and has been travelling since the mid-1980s, when he hitch-hiked around Europe on a shoestring. In 1991 he embarked on a two-year trip which started in India and ended up in Honduras, staying in the tropics for most of the way. His abiding passion for hot countries now takes him to Mexico and Indonesia on assignment for Lonely Planet.
