Korina grew up on Vancouver Island, packed her bags at 18 and hasn't stopped travelling since. She has a degree in Intercultural Development and Communications and an MA in Migration Studies, and has worked with minority peoples in India, China, Canada and the UK. Korina has been an author with Lonely Planet for the past eight years and is a co-author of Lonely Planet's Volunteer: A Traveller's Guide to Making a Difference Around the World (2007).
