Chris' love of travel first manifested with the maps of the Aegean he scrawled at the age of five. He first visited Greece while labouring away on an MPhil in Byzantine Studies at Oxford. Since then, he's been all over Greece, Turkey and the Balkans as a travel writer and journalist. Chris co-authored Lonely Planet's 2008 Greece, Greek Islands and Bulgaria guides.
